Homecoming: Iowa City

Jon has been telling me from day #1 that one of his main objectives of this road trip is to get to Iowa City to spend time with his good friends Gina and Julius Dusterhoft. Furthermore, he is anxious to wash the NSX as it has a serious collection of bug carcasses smeared across the windshield/fender and trapped in the front grill. We depart Kearney NE at 7:30am and quickly wrap up 375 miles to arrive at Gina's BMW Motorcycles in Iowa City at 2pm. Gina and Julius sold Jon his BMW motorcycle while he was here doing his residency and boy, he is happy to see them. After exchanging many pleasantries, Jon cleans up the NSX and lets one of the mechanics take it out for a drive.VROOOM! It goes right up to 120 mph and unexpectedly, sideways. What a rush for everyone! and, it shakes out a piece of a cigar punch that Jon has been looking for a long time. Note: these mechanics are excellent at maneuvering..even ride bikes over boulders!
